	Welcome to the Salt Lake City Brown Berets Webpage! Welcome to the webpage of the autonomous chapter of the Salt Lake City Brown Berets. We are dedicated to fighting injustice in our communities as well as promoting education and empowerment to our youth. The Brown Berets of Salt Lake City formed in 2006 and stand in solidarity with the various chapters of Brown Berets throughout the different states. Please view our links section for information on Brown Beret chapters in your area. Through this website, you will be able to see our latest events, follow our history, and view contact information on how to join us as well as support our cause via action or donation. We also provide you links to various sources of information through which you will be able to educate yourself and others. Each one teach one. Check out our education section which will keep expanding. We will be adding speeches from leaders of the civil rights era, and history of our people. Make sure you check us out on MYSPACE. Daniel Argueta miembro del grupo comunitario Brown Berets de Salt Lake, indicó a La Prensa Times sin salir de su asombro, cómo Yapias aprovechó la situación para ganar puntos publicitarios con el mencionado folleto, ante la comunidad en general.

	SLC Brown Berets visit Idaho! If you are near or by Boise Idaho, come meet the Brown Berets of Salt Lake City. They will be in town for the next two days helping M.E.Ch.A. of Boise with the Cesar Chavez week. They will be at Boise State University tomorrow between 12:00-2:00PM.
